Amex Revolver Question...

How many Revolver can you get approve for AMEX. I have a Green Charge card back in October, then Delta December, just got approved for Hilton Honors this month. The reason I asked is because now I'm getting pre-approved for BCE and ED cards (two of the cards that I really wanted but can't get approve for it until now). Can I apply after just getting approved for Hilton this month? Thanks for all your help.

Depending on where you look, the max is 4 or 5 revolvers at the same time.

Seeing as you just got the two with $1,000 limits, I would suggest holding off and waiting 6 months or maybe even a year and let your accounts age and your scores increase so you don't get low-balled with two more thousand dollar limit cards.

OP, there are certain 'rules' when it comes to applying for a variety of the AmEx revolvers. Of notable mention is the 2 in 90 rule.

And, while anything can be YEMV, typically you can only get approved for two revolvers every 90 days. Which means that if you apply for a third revolver within the 90-day window, you'll automatically be declined.

Choose wisely.
