Does the AMEX x3 CLI Method Work for Cards Not Issued by American Express?

Does anyone have data regarding the AMEX x3 CLI and non Ameican Express issed cards? I assume PenFed, WF, USAA, etc all have their own unique CLI underwriting, but was hoping for some data on this... Should I ask for x3 at 91 days? Thanks

Those cards mentioned simply use the payment network. They are not issued directly by AMEX therefore follow the issuer's rules with regards to CLIs.

Also be sure to ask which ones do a HP when requesting a CLI because some will do an Auto-CLI on their own without you having to do a HP
