Just lower my apr from 18.49% to 16.49% (10.99% + PrimeRate) on my Discover Chrome Card

Wonderful to hear this! They lowered mine to this rate as well. You have their current lowest rate! Its one of the many reasons I am a Discover Bank customer. I love my discover card!

I just passed my year of opening my card with them and the APR goes up in April... I'm assuming you just called and asked? Is it pretty straightforward?

You can call and ask or you can even ask via chat. They're offered me a time or 2 the opportunity to go a period of time with 0% on new purchases. I don't really use Discover but they're nice to have around in the rare instance you need a BT as they seem to always have offers on my account. And like Citi, they'll DD into your checking account which is nice in you ever needed to take advantage of such.
