PayPal credit?

PayPal credit is a real nightmare. I’ve used like 2x after I first opened it and haven’t been able to use it since to pay for anything lol. It’s a real joke!! It still says open and available. I thought maybe it was closed but it’s really ridiculous

I have had PayPal credit for a long time, use it somewhat regularly and have never had a problem with it. I also haven’t heard of many complaints about it at all.

Feel free to share your specific issues and maybe someone can help you work through the problems you’re experiencing.

Yeah man...used it a bunch of times my self...no issues. Maybe a better description of the issues you are having or contact paypal customer service @ 1-866-528-3733

I've had PayPal credit since it was "Bill Me Later" It was good for a while but in the last year have had nothing but trouble. I had a statement returned to them last year as undeliverable (the fault of my post office). I called them to verify they had the correct info and there was no problem because of the returned statement. They said everything was fine. A few days later, literally it was no more than 3 days, I went online to make a payment and noted I had $0 available credit (I had a 3.5k limit and a balance of like $400, I used it several times a month and paid it off every few months). I called them to see if this was a mistake and what was going on in general. They told me that they had suspended my account because of the returned statement. I was furious. They had zero explination for previously telling me there was no issue.

I asked what I needed to do to remove the suspension/reopen the account. They told me they were unable to reopen anything at that time (this was April or March of last year) because of the bank switch over they were doing. I asked when they would be able to. They said July. In July I called and they said August, August I called and they said October. In October they told me that had no idea and directed me to their help page where they said they can't re-open account and don't know when they will be able to. So I have 3.5k limit sitting out there that I can't use, and can't open a new account because of the old "suspended/closed" account.

All that to say, I think they are hit or miss in terms of quality/problems.

It just tells me I’m ineligible to apply. Gave up on it.
