Should I close my discover and Bank of America secured cards? I now have several Amex, navy, chase, and a citi cards with great limits.

My discover(3yrs) hasnt graduated but I was approved for a high sl on the discover cash back card.

Bank of America wouldn’t unsecure my my card and reason for decline was an old charge off and at the time fico was 670. And it’s also over 3 years old.

What effects would closing these cards have on my report? Should I let my new chase cards age a bit before closing these cards? So that chase doesn’t think I’m have cards closed?

I would close them both, assuming that your other cards have more than enough limit so utilization isn't an issue if you are concerned about it. You'll keep the credit history of the cards for 7-10 years, depending on the CRA, so the score hit is minimal immediately. Once they fall off you may see a score hit, depending on how many other cards you have. Chase is more concerned when you add new cards, usually.
