Hi All. I'll keep this brief. I was looking at the Chase cards on their regular webpage and noticed something different. Not sure if it's always been there or it just changed on my side.

When you click on "Find Credit Cards" you land on their card homepage. It lets you see "All Cards" and has tabs for "Travel" or "Cashback", etc. Looks like Chase did just recently update the format of this page. While on this page, when I would select the Freedom, CFU or CSP page it had this "Sign in to apply faster" and "Apply as guest" buttons. Both with a little lock on them (below)

When I selected any other card it just has the regular "Apply Now" button (on CSR and all cobranded cards)

Obviously with my curious nature I went ahead and hit "Log in to apply faster" to see what it does. It logs me in and oddly pulls up the the page like if I had went to the "Your Offers" tab. I NEVER get anything on the your offers tab (well not for actual card offers or green check marks). "Your Offer" is on the top banner and it only asks for my income and phone number. Then after scrolling down it says "Accept and Submit" -- this is what I understood the 5/24 bypass app screen looked like, but I've never seen it directly so couldnt tell you if it is or not.

Here is what the bottom of the same page shows when I scroll down. It does not show a solid APR, but the range and I KNOW usually a range is a regular app, but this format is very different than a regular app.

Is anyone else seeing this? I'm only seeing this format Freedom, CFU and CSP. Is anyone else seeing the same thing?

Did Chase just update their page to offer expedited applications and this is a general public change for everyone?

Are you seeing the "Log in to apply faster" on any other cards or cards different from mine shows?

Is this my 5/24 bypass?

If i log in as normal onto chase.com and navigate towards the "your offers" tab I dont see any of these cards. I have not submitted anything, but am curious to see what anyone else is getting and based on what we find out I may very well submit the app.

Intriguing minds would like to know!

Must just be a site update. I followed your steps and got the same results. Not submitting and applying though, they'd laugh at me!

When I exit that screen and go to the "Find offers" tab from the left pull down menu and select "credit cards", it takes me to the pre-qual mini app screen. Maybe others will have different experiences.

Thanks for checking @JA_Harleylove

Collectively I think we'll figure out very quickly if this is Chase's way of trying to get people to apply who know they are LOL/24 we'll see if others chime in and get the same thing. I wonder why they would have taken that approach though only on a few cards but left the rest as is. Sneaky sneaky Chase...

I'm 17/24 now, but will be down to 6/24 in August. I'm hoping to snag up a Chase Ink so I'm impatiently being patient, but I do think 1 inquiry is worth the risk. Whenever I apply I only get 1 pull (EX). My very first card was a double (EQ & EX), but the 6 cards after that were only 1.

It does appear different, but at this point I think it is just part of the site re-design. Mine appeared as yours did, and with the APR range, that definitley didn't give me any warm-fuzzy that it would bypass the 5/24. Middle of last month I did have a banner ad for a FU that showed the APR at it's lowest and also a 0% APR for either 12 or 15 months. I probably should've pulled the trigger then to bypass 5/24, but I am still on the fense as to whether I'll try and buy a home in the next 6-12 months and don't want any new tradelines to dampen my FICO scores. My newest 3 cards just reached 12 months old this month. and I'll have my last HPs reaching 12 months this month as well. I'm definitely looking forward to someone "testing" the theories and reporting back though!

To my knowledge, this is a UI process improvement, not a 5/24 "loophole or bypass".

Since last year, they've made more streamlined enhancements to improve the customer experience factor. One of these was to align the 'short form' input criteria for their core cards for existing customers. This is separate from the pre-qualified UI platform. Co-branded or partner cards are not part of the enhancements at this time.

Potentially, anyone who is pre-qualified, can still yield the same form through this other method. That being said, the actual [YEMV] 5/24 workaround is still viable by visiting a branch for any pre-qualified offers.
