Hilton Honors Aspire Free Weekend Night Certificate

I applied for the Amex Hilton Honors Aspire Card in mid-February hoping to use the free weekend night certificate for Mother’s Day weekend, but I haven’t received the certificate in my email yet. I was wondering how long it took for any of you to receive the certificate after you were approved. I’m just hoping I get it early enough to book a place before Mother’s Day.

It normally takes 8-14 weeks to receive the certificate after you were approved. If I had to guess, you should receive it sometime mid-April.

I was approved in May 30th and received my free night certificate Aug 6th.

It’s ridiculous in how long it takes but I guess they do that to limit people using the free night then canceling the card to get annual fee refunded.

I was approved mid January and still have not received mine.

It does take a while but its stated that it takes that long. Lots of people, myself included are spoiled with Amex usually posting things almost immediately.

Sure would have been nice to use my free night since I’m in Italy now! Oh well there’s always next vacation.

Got it. Thanks everyone for your replies. Yes, I was definitely spoiled by how quickly Amex posted the SUB so I was hoping the free night certificate would come quickly as well. Perhaps it’ll have to be saved for another vacation like you. Hope you receive yours soon!

Also, make sure you book your desired room early. The reward has to be used on a basic (standard) room.
