Love button question..

So I've quite a bit of conflicting things on here about sp CLI I've read the button only pops up when you're eligible for one but yet on my Citi DC card there is always a link in the app for a sp CLI I've tried twice but to no avail for a little while the button disappeared for a couple weeks and now it's back.

What is your question?
they won't consider your acocunt unless it's open for at elast 6 months or you haven't got any CLI in the last 6 months while in good standing.

My question is why is the button there if I'm not eligible for it yet I see people on talk about how it doesn't appear unless you're eligible.

The CLI is always usually there, but if you are not eligible you won't get one. Citi usually goes the 6 month route in most cases. The CLI is available on most of my cards , doesn't mean I am eligible.

I dont know where you would have heard that but its not correct with regards to Citi.

The option to request a CLI from Citi is always available in your online account. Click on Services > Credit Card Services > Request a Credit Limit Increase to see it. I got my first soft pull CLI when my account was 3 months old, then subsequent CLIs at 6-month intervals.
