Best credit card for flying Nashville - NYC

So I’m going to be buying tickets between Nashville - NYC about 5-4 times per year. Additionally I will be buying flights between Warsaw-Chicago exclusively through LOT airlines.
Any credit card recommendations?

BNA-JFK: American Eagle, Delta Connection

BNA-LGA: American Eagle, Delta Connection, Southwest

BNA-EWR: Southwest, United, United Express

Do you have status with any of these airlines? Do you tend to check a bag or carry on?

I'm partial to my AA card. I just dislike the hassle of paying for that one checked item. IMHO - I'd probably go with a non specific travel rewards card vs. a co-branded card since you hadn't specified an airlines that you like. Perhaps a CSP, AMEX or something of that nature. Co-branded cards I'd say BoA Alaska or Citi AA. All depends what your base airport hosts too I guess. @ DFW, it's AA's main hub. @ DAL it's SW's main hub. If you were @ ATL you would probably want something like a AMEX Delta.

I don’t have preference. Most convenient airport will be probably La Guardia.

I don't see any great values for you in terms of perks or going for status. Maybe be a gentle churner, just getting an occasional bonus...whether it be in the form of miles or cash/travel statement credits.

you say flights between Warsaw and ORD.

2 RTs on that route will blow away 4 or 5 domestics. I agree with above and would only consider non-airline specific reward miles programs.

I agree with the others, a non airline specific card would probably be more beneficial. The Amex Gold would be nice if you can use the credits to offset the annual fee, the CSP might also be a good choice. Another option that I feel gets overlooked for people who don't travel often and has no annual fee is the BofA Cash Rewards card travel category. It gets 3% back on your selected category purchases on $2,500 each quarter, and what they consider travel is HUGE, it even includes Uber and Lyft. I know its not as great of a return as the other cards mentioned, and the $2,500 max every quarter limits its potential, but I believe its a solid option for a lot of people. Plus you can just change the category if something works better for you.

Yeah I think this is what I am gonig to do. Just use BoA cashback with travel selected for its 3% category.

I’m in Nashville and I fly Delta with the Delta Reserve.

With baggage, SkyClub and 1st/C+ companion ticket, I WAY more than recoup the annual fee.

You can also recoup the AF with the Delta Gold $95 (luggage) and Delta Plat $195 (luggage and main companion ticket).
