Removing capital one cards from login

Does anyone know if it’s possible to remove an old capital one card that had been closed for a year from the login and app?

CapOne eliminated that functionality when the ‘updated’ their site. Now I believe you need to go through customer service.

I’ve been trying to do the same. When I call customer service they just tell me “it’ll fall off automatically after about 6 months.” A year later I’m still waiting.

Had the same issue, I put it to the bottom of my list of accounts and cards and it did eventually fall off. Good Luck! I know how annoying that it to stare at a closed account every time you check your stats.

Was wondering the same thing. My closed account has shown for over a year. Customer service had no clue how to remove it, and then said "oh wait, this will do it." That did it alright...Removed all my accounts (auto, closed, and open CC)

When I added them back on, the closed one showed right back up. CS agent had no idea why. Hoping it will drop off some day....

At one time there was a way to do it if you could get to the right person, but that was several web site designs ago.

One would think there would be an easy solution.

Is Cap1 hanging out here? Just noticed that they finally deleted my old Quicksilver account from online access after complaining on here lol

Wow, 17 months?? Crazy. I wish I could give a data point on how long they wait to delete, but honestly I don't know what day they actually deleted it.

Oh goody, more Cap One fun. This week after closing my Venture I was wondering how long it would sit there. I tried to "hide" the account (which should be a simple feature to offer) - to no avail. Annoying.

Meanwhile, over on my Chase account I have a "Investment Account Pending" Box they have not figured out how to remove for the last 8 months that I cannot hide.
