Is it still possible to get credit card offers with a two locked reports and a frozen EX?
I ask b/c since I’ve locked my TU and EQ, I don’t get Any Credit Card offers via mail or pre-approvals if and when I visit specific websites like Capital One, Discover, Citi etc. Hmmmm Can anyone weigh in on this?

You have to remove the locks and freeze when you go to check for a prequal because they do a SP on one or more bureaus and can’t do it if you have a lock or freeze.

You’re welcome!

I freeze all three. Transunion has an app you can download, Equifax has the My Equifax site, Experian just has the form because they want you to pay for their credit monitoring to get access to credit locks.

Keep in mind, only security freezes are legally mandated and often using a lock if you read the terms, they force arbitration and other unfavorable terms on you for it and also while you can take your PIN and call a number to lift a freeze with any of the three bureaus, if you have an issue managing your lock you can be stuck until they fix the technical issue. Since I have had to deal with both Transunion and Equifax’s websites refusing to let me manage my freeze and had to call the numbers and use my PIN, I would never use a lock instead.
