Discover APR Reduction Approval!

So, called Discover last night and asked for an APR reduction because I'm just trying to get my cards as low as possible, and when I called last night I was pleasantly surprised to find out that I was eligible for a permanent interest rate reduction from 20.49% to 17.49%, which even though I haven't had to pay any interest on the card, it's still great to have a lower interest rate!

I'm so excited by how far I've come with Discover in just under 20 months! Definitely recommend them!

Congrats! The new apr is awesome. Do you carry any balance on the card at the time you called?

I only had a balance transfer on my account. I literally told them that I haven't paid a cent in interest, just wanted it lower in case it were to end up having a balance carry over. They were super understanding and it instantly showed up.

Congratulations.

After going through a lot of APR reduction threads, I finally touch based with all my banks (I didn't even know it was possible). Citi, Amex said I don't have any offers to reduce my APR. Discover said I was eligible and reduced it by 0.75% <face plam>
