New card for immediate use/ WF Cash Wise or BOA Cash Rewards

I'd like to procure 1 of the cards [title] and use it immediately. Does anyone know which can be used immediately for an online purchase? I might assume both, but I would like to confirm before the score hit. Or, perhaps neither, which would be ok too...as this is just a fun purchase anyways... Thank you

Neither of them offer an instant # for purchases before the card comes in the mail.

I would go for the BOA over WF because they've went to a SP CLI and grow pretty good.

Amex has never offered me an instant card number, but some others have been able to get card numbers immediately. I'm not sure if it's necessary to be an existing customer.

You could see what bonus offers are available for BCE/BCP/Cash Magnet. BCP you could downgrade to BCE after a year.

For the record...

Good tip on Amex. My wife has a card, and recalled the referral link. She sent me the referal and scored $100. Then, I applied and was approved for a $200 reward. Then...upon requesting an account number to use immediately, their system claimed and "error" and could not provide said number at this time. But noted they will issue me a $60 statement credit for the trouble. So... $360. Not bad.

I will wait patiently for the card to arrive now... Thanks again for the tips.
