I notice that Navy has softed my EQ on April 1 then again on May 27. Normally they soft every quarter. Been a member since 5/2007. One paid car loan 60 month in 17 months. Car loan 9/2008 paid 60% of that off. One credit card 25K never used more than 5% of limit in any one month. Always PIF. What could they be concerned about?

Dont feel bad... in the two months since ive been a member, they have softed me 3x... I mean granted, I did open an account there and then immediately gain over 55k in credit with them (Auto refi, 2 credit cards, and a LOC). So, for them I understand their reasoning... However, if you ever want to feel special, join PenFed and have a credit card with them.... I think their CSR's just get bored and soft me for fun, or so it seems that way. In the past year, they have softed me 11 out of 12 months. You think they would get the hint by now that im not in any sort of credit trouble, but ya know - who knows these days..........

I've been a member for 20 years and have multiple credit products with them. In the last couple of years that I have actually looked at my soft pulls, NFCU pulled a soft once which was for a CC cli. In retrospect, knowing a creditor has pulled a soft on my report has never helped me in any way. It's been a waste of time just looking at that portion of my report.
