Discover BT offers poofed

I've had BT offers continously for the past two years.
Last one was set to expire on 25th, and I thought nothing of it as they repopulate next day, except this time it did not. Crickets on BT page

I dont need a BT, but that was my sole reason for growing this card. I've asked a few people and their offers seem to have disappeared

So, either they are making some changes or the joke is on me 😂😂😂

Haven't had an offer for over 6 months.. Very pointless card other then 5% without those. Some people have them all the time while others don't. Just shows that discover not only hates me on the CLI front for most part, but with their BT's.. I just cant win .. I have many better options being WS visa and NFCU etc, but where is the love Discover geeze. Basically as bad as barclay's if you have alot of credit they turn a cold shoulder to you!

Weird. I figured I wouldn’t have any either since I’ve had a balance on the Disco for awhile now. My account is still showing two offers though.

I always get BT offers but never use them. I would if my CL was higher ($13k). I’m not very comfortable having a $10k balance on a $13k card, so I have to use other cards for BTs.
I’ve only been getting CLIs about twice a year if lucky, and they give me $1.5k at a time. I’ve noticed that some people manage to get very large CLs with Discover, but they don’t like me very much 😭

$0 balance on $19,500 limit

$2,500 balance (0%) on $11,700 limit

No offers...I even called them!

Mine ended on the same day, but was replaced by another one. I didn't look very closely, but the terms looked similar. This offer is available until somewhere around the end of August.

I felt slightly bad for asking because I dont really intend to use it, but whatever. That's what they get for taking away another thing I did not intend to use

On a more serious note, the only reason it survived the Chopping Season was the persistence of BT offers. I figured if I ever need one, it will be there (two years, never without one), but they had to go and be sketchy about those now, too

I rarely max any category, so at this point, I'm very close to calling it useless to me.

I've had that happen to me lately, but then they come back by the next statement cycle.

I too use the cards almost exclusively for balance transfer offers. I don't have the brain cells to waste to be worrying about their category of the quarter, and I don't really like carrying the cards because too many places I go to don't accept Discover.

I hadn't had a BT offer for the past 12 months, and no CLI's either.

Then I started using it for the 5% gas category (only put a total of maybe $400 on over three months), and suddenly I have multiple BT offers and got a CLI.

I think they just list to see consistent swipes before they give you offers.

Mine disappeared also. I don't carry balances but I liked knowing I had a BT available if I ever needed it. Now they have a banner on my home page offering me a home equity loan. I live in an apartment🥺

I would've done it but then I saw the $3k spend requirement by September. Maybe they forgot to add a 0 and multiply by 2?

Weird.

My card still has always-present 0% for 12 months with 3% fee offer, but my always-present 4.99% for 18 months with 0% fee offer has now jumped to 5.99%. Current BT of $2,xxx on $10,500 limit. Member since 2016.

AU card still has always-present 0% for 12 months with 3% fee offer, but the always-present 4.99% for 18 months with 0% fee offer has now become 15 months. Current BT of $5,xxx on $41,500 limit. Member since 1995.

Discover 5% offers for me are usually redundant with other category cards or store cards that I have, so they've really been there solely for BTs. We both got mailers about a month ago stating that the 3% fee would be increasing in July. So my card is likely on the chopping block after this current BT is paid. Don't want to pay 5% BT fees when 0-3% is available elsewhere and for some reason Disco has been very reluctant to give me a large CL. (Started at $2500 3 years ago, got a $3000 CLI a few months later, and a handful of small ones since.)
