US BANK PC?

Quick question guys and gals, the GF has a USB Harley Davidson unsecured card does anyone know if she’d be able to do a PC to another card or would she have to apply for something else?

I have that card as well and have no need for the benefits. I accpeted it, back when they had prequalification up for the 15 month BT offer. My plan has been to wait until the 15 months was up to request PC.

Should be as simple as asking either by message or by phone.

With their core cards it's not an issue. co-brand might be a little different.

It's my understanding that PCs between co-branded products to core or to other co-branded ones are typically more restrictive.

I've done 2 PCs several years ago, but it's been between core CCs.

You may want to contact them to see whether that's a possibility. @Anonymous may also have some input on this.

@FinStar When doing a PC, do cards have to be certain age (like one year or something like that) and also, are flex points still transferable to AR?

When I PC'd the 2 CCs, they were over a year old each, so I'm inclined to say that 12 months might be the standard, especially if an upgraded product has an annual fee. I'm not aware of anyone being able to PC in less than 12 months though.

Plus, DPs are seemingly scarce since not many folks PC USB products, save for the usual Cash+ and/or Platinum variety.

As far as the Flex points, that's a good question. I would assume that the accounts would be "pooled" if you have multiple Flex rewards CCs, such as the FlexPerks or the AR. Maybe @Shadowfactor might know.

She should be at the 15th month mark today with the Harley card, we just don’t ride any more and the only redemption options are for Harley gift cards. She’s eyeballing the the usb 365 and it’d definitely fit her / our lifestyle better nowadays. She doesn’t want a HP but it may be her only option. If that’s the case does any one know if USB will combine CL’s?

Each Flexperks card actually has its own seperate account.

So busines, personal and AR are all kept seperate. You can transfer the points online between accounts or even to another person without charge.

If you are transferring to another other person there’s a limit but moving points within your own accounts is unlimited (online it’s capped) but if you call USB customer service they will do it.

I’ve not been able to PC my personal Flexperks card to cash+. Been trying every month since month 11

AFAIK, they do not combine CLs. A few years ago before some changes to internal UW policies took effect, there was a little more flexibility; such as if approved for a new product and if there was an existing one that was no longer in use, you could at that point have the UW folks transfer the CL and close the old one. But, I don't believe they do that anymore.

@Shadowfactorin the recent past, US Bank did not permit p/cing co-branded affinity cards to core cards (contracts with the companies restrict this - tried taking a US Bank Lions International Visa to a US Bank Flex Perks Visa and was denied). Now as to p/cing a US Bank Flex Perk Rewards VIsa to a US Banks Cash+ Rewards Visa card, that was done and they took my Flexperks rewards points account and converted it to the cash+ equivalent (I lost nothing).

Flexperks -> Altitude yes

the opposite is not possible. I should have mentioned that previously
