GEMB is still lending...

In 2003 I opened a Care Credit acct for a Vet bill. I closed that acct last summer. Today I app'd for Care Credit AGAIN because I maxed out my dental coverage w/ a root canal and decided to pay for the crown via CC.

Amount requested was 1200, I was approved for 2k w/ a 656 EQ. Yes please, I'll take 12 months no interest for that, thank you very much.

Last week I asked for a CLI on my Ikea card -- went from 2.8k to 3k w/ a soft.

My other GEMB card is Old Navy. It's sitting at an 800 limit (still higher than Amex) and a zero balance.

Now if only I could convince HSBC that I'm worthy...

Good to know as they shut down my perfectly paid -0- balance account in November!

They are chasing my balance on my Lowes visa but gave me a cli of $629 on my project card.

No rhyme or reason.

Thanks Trish -- I know the feeling, trust me. HSBC shut down my 6k card w/ a zero balance. Not a CLD -- just shut down. Grumble.

Congrats on the approval. I just dont get HSBC..
