Citi® Double Cash card pre qualify website!!!

Has anyone had any luck with Citi bank after getting the dreaded "We couldn't match your records to a Pre-Qualified credit card". I've been wanting a Citi card for years but im not sure if my credit is there yet. Currently I am at TU-706, EQ-711 after taking a couple hits from a new car loan. What kind of scores do they like to see as I do have a BB store card with them but i've only had it a little over a year with a 3K limit???

I never get pre-qualify on Citi website. I cold apps both of my Citi cards and get approved. Lucky me.

Never have had a citi pre-qual on their site, but been approved for every card i have applied for. Don't count on pre-quals, count on the merits of your credit report. Also BB credit card is on their retail sector and not their legacy side meaning have a BB cc has no impact on being able to get a legacy card such as DC, Premier, AA or the likes.

Generally don't receive pre quals for Citi and still receive approvals. For the record I don't receive pre quals any where and still get approved.

If those are CK (Vantage scores), I suggest not cold applying until you know your FICO scores.

I see you just got your Quicksilver. Give yourself a rest from applying for six months and allow your new accounts to age. At that point, I would think you'd be in good shape for the Double Cash card.

I have never been pre-qualified for anything on that site, but thankfully Citi was happy to upgrade my existing Diamond Preferred to a DC a few weeks ago. Love the new card, already earned $60 in cashback

@HeavenOhio I messed up today and pulled the trigger on a new card. I do alot of shopping on amazon and im always getting that little message at the bottom before checking out "Sign up today for amazon visa and get $70 off your order today". Well I APP'd for it and instantly got approved for a Amazon visa with a 5k starting limit. I am definitely done APP'ing for cards right now lol
