Different flavors of BoA cash rewards

Hey guys, I was looking to see if there was any card like the bank of the west cash rewards card but there's one from a credit union, but idk it looks kinda sketchy for some reason. But anyway, I saw that there was a $150 bonus on the boa cash rewards and also a $200 Amazon gift card for only $500 spend, unlike the public offer of $200 for $1K spend.

Honestly, idk why people favor like the propel card of $300 SUB for $3K, I rather get a quick $100 for $500 spend, the less spend I have to do, the better and quicker to get the SUB, that's just me tho.

Not sure but i think the Propel is more versatile card than the Cashback card from Boa. Luckily i got the Propel, Boa wont approve me for more than one card

To me $300 is better than $100. That said, I can see where some people might not be able to spend $3K in 90 days. So the $100 offer looks better to them.

However, if done right I believe it's possible. You just have to strategize things to coincide with the CC app, along with regular monthly spend like utilies, groceries and gas etc. Granted it's much easier with Visa/MC than Amex cards due to acceptance issues.

Just groceries and 4 utilities get me to just over $2K in 3 months. So I usially time the app around auto insurance renewal, or some other large purchase i need.

The NEA version of the card appears to come with a $200 Amazon gift card in lieu of the cash bonus, not in addition to it. I suppose for some the lower spend requirement of $500 might be worth getting Amazon credit instead of cash.

The public offer for the Cash Rewards has been elevated to $200, but there's still a $1k spend requirement.

There are many, many flavors of the BoA Cash Rewards out there with various organizations. They are all basically the same other than obviously the image on the card/organization it supports and occasionally the bonus offers are slightly different (in this case, an Amazon GC instead of cash). Between a store gift card and cash, I'd much rather have cash as my signup bonus so I personally would go for a "flavor" of the BoA Cash that offers a cash signup bonus instead.

I got the Propel card because I had a bunch of spending to do, lots of travel, and some furniture. I hit 3K on Propel in about 10 days. Easy $300, plus points, plus earn more mall, totalled over $450 in no time.

Oh okay, makes sense. I mean, if you have a need for $3K spend then of course get it by all means.

My last app was for the Propel but I was denied due to my short credit history. I'm tempted to do the BofA Cash Rewards for that SUB but think I'll just focus on gardening for now. I'll definitely try again for that SUB and the benefits that card offers in the future at some point.

@Sealifer you like Riley from the boondocks lol? Yeah, you should get the $200 Amazon GC instead of the cash unless you rarely buy stuff on Amazon but either way, they work both as cash. It would make sense to get the Amazon GC IMO.
