Wait, what? I never heard about this. When did Capital One lose the Sony card and I wonder if that means PlayStation is going too?

I guess I will end up with a Comenity card I'll actually use for more than BTs.

@Brian_Earl_Spilner They (Comenity) can grow quickly (much faster than Cap1 these days) and if your current card moves to Comenity as a Visa, you will probably get those great BT offers. #positivevibes

Maybe this transfer will get you off the blacklist?

I am excited about the transfer. I have missed my PS card but I didn't want to toss an app at it with my Capital One exposure being so close to my income. I already had it at $2K that never grew so I'm going to take the transfer as a sign that I should get it again.

Interesting...I still have my PlayStation card from a LONG time ago and I haven't heard one thing from CapOne about a transition. I actually hope the PlayStation doesn't go to Comenity because as stingy as folks think CapOne is I'd rather have them than Comenity on any level.

Not too long ago, I was invited by Sony to look at possible revamps for the Sony card rewards. I made a thread about it. It's pretty long because if all the different configurations they were offering. Now, I see why. I'm gonna be annoyed if my PlayStation goes to comenity. I like cap1's app and website.

@Brian_Earl_Spilner Well I arrive home today to find a thick packet from good ole Comenity informing me that as of November 10th they will now be the servicer of my PlayStation Visa. Ugh!

Seriously thinking about ditching the card now as I just don’t care for the way Comenity conducts themselves.

Would consider keeping as 4 month CLI's and the best BT offers in the CC world imo if you use those are all.. 0% and 0 fees for 18 months. Can you ask for much better?

Playstation Visa is going to Comenity also. Got a letter from them today. Actually I'm excited for the change since Cap One won't increase my limit past $1,100 and I've had this card for 2 years now. For those who are wondering about rewards, it's not looking good. If you were getting 10 points, now you'll only get 5. I was already only getting 5 points so it doesn't affect me.

Huh? They nerfed the rewards? That really doesn't make sense since it was already a niche card with limited redemption options.

Yes. But rewards have been 5 points per dollar since September 2017, I think. So to me personally it doesn't make any difference. I do feel bad for those people who were getting 10 points per dollar. Those points do add up quickly.

if they make a GOOD card for getting discounts on ps4 games, i'd be interested. i get most games from bestbuy or gamestop but if it's a big discount at the sony onlinestore i'd go for it. the last sale that sony did i bought a ton of the digital-only games. its convenient that you don't have to swap discs but on the other hand, now you can't resell them or give them away to your family.
