topic Extra 1% on the All Other Category- Chase Amazon Prime in Credit Cards

I opened a Chase checking account for the $300 bonus last month and I see that I’m now getting an extra 1% match under the reason of “Chase Banking Offer Bonus” on all of my “other” category purchases that normally rate 1%.

I couldn’t find anything about this online so I called Chase CSR to learn more.

Short answer is that I didn’t. Credit Cards immediately sent me to Retail Banking who immediately kicked me back to Credit Cards who had no clue what I was talking about. After 10 minutes of the CSR breathing into the phone he said I got $300 for opening a checking account during a promo period. Not very helpful.

Anyone know what this offer is, and how long it runs? I don’t know if this affects other Chase cards or if it’s only the Amazon Prime card.
