Does Cap1 offer two different kinds of SaverOne cards?

I saw on CK they were advertising a SaverOne card for people with average credit without a sub and saying Very good approval odds. The other SaverOne had a SUB and says poor approval odds.

A bit confused here..

Cap1 cards listed on CK saying For average credit?

So this is something else I noticed. There is a bunch of Cap1 cards listed on CKs site all saying "For average credit" with no SUB, different APRs then form the Cap1 website directly. Also these cards are not listed on the Cap1 website?

Any ideas what these are? Some special cards for CK users or something?

I know the approval odds are meaningless but it's still intersting none the less.

Not just CK.. appears Cap1 wants a piece of people either with alot of credit or not offer bonuses or intro apr's to certain people.. Was curious last night and never get pre-qual's for Cap1 cards, but was qualified for regular QS, Venture One and Savor One all without bonuses or Intro APR's. appears they are willing to give these cards to people without bonuses or intro apr's if they either have to much credit or various other criteria. My scores are all around 800ish, but have TONS of credit and a about a year or two ago Cap1 started turning people down with 800+ scores as we were unprofitable to them as considered "churners or bonus chasers". Appears they still want the business now to grow their base possibly, but without losing their arse. No way would i take a triple pull for no bonus

Brand new cap1 savor and venture for average credit?!?!

So I was on credit karma and they recommended the savor and venture card for me and called it the "savor card for average credit". Basically it's the same card but without the signup bonus and a higher APR. It's like 19.99-26.99. It has the exact same rewards structure. I went to the cap1 website and its not there so I think it's just something being offered on credit karma. Since this just happened there are no reviews and I'm very curious about what kind of credit limits and credit scores they are taking. My scores are in the low 600s and I was recommended with good approval odds. Anyone else hear about this?

I'm not gonna apply for it either but I'm very curious about it. I already got the discover secured which matches cash back at 2% so I don't really need a new card for rewards purposes and plus I already opened up too many cards in the last year. I'd like to hear some people's credit limits tho with these cards. There is also a no annual fee Quicksilver for average credit too.

You have to use the prequal tool to see it.

No SUB and no intro APR. This is the old Cap1. Everything old is new again. lol

They added (I think its new) this gem to the page you see your offers on;

"*The card features shown with your pre-qualified offer results may vary from offers available elsewhere on Capitalone.com or other card offers you may have seen."

+1 yeppers.

also @Anonymous if you are really interested make sure you go through cap1 pre-qual site as they pretty much are rock solid if you want to move forward with a cap1 card. best of luck whatever you do

Yeah no pre-qual for a SaverOne yet. Decided it's the card i want and more useful then a Chase Freedom. Not seeing the "Average credit" variants of it as well there. Only getting Pre-Qual for Platnium and QuickSilver with a annual fee which is a duplicate of my WF card.

My credit usage will go down to 5% from 79% soon so we'll see if i get a pre-qual on that page for one. If not I think i'll attempt CKs average credit SaverOne and see what happens.

I have one. My score at the time was about 715, but limited history and lots of inquiries. I was given $500 with steps to $750. Capital One has never liked me, lol. It came up on a pre-qual check and I was (so I thought) familiar with the terms for the card, so it wasn't till I'd applied I realized I wasn't getting any sign-up or interest-free period. Of course I really don't need to carry $500 over 12 months anyway!

Wow that's no fun! $500 limit with 715 score!?!? I was only curious and only considering the card a tiny, tiny bit. My scores are mid to low 600s. My highest score is around 650. I thought, hmm that 3 and 2 percent cash back is pretty appealing but I don't want to get locked in to a credit limit under $1000 for years and years. Plus the triple pull. I'm just gonna hold out for my scores to get a little better and then go up to my bank and get their PNC cash rewards card. It's got sign up bonus and 1-4 percent cash back. That's the goal card I think I have a shot at so we'll see what happens. Think I'll definitely pass on these "average credit" cap1 cards. Not that they are terrible cause they are still pretty good but I'll wait it out and hope for the best with PNC.
