wanted feed back on which of these 2 cards seem to be stronger , higher in New CL and Better rep?

FYI Fico8 roughly 780-804 on all three 6% utl

Which US Bank CC specifically? They have several CCs. Is this in reference to Cash+ or...?

As far as SLs, this is largely profile-dependent which would include factors such as income, personal banking relationship (or lack thereof), etc. - not just scores alone.

I got the Wells Fargo Propel when my scores (with Wells Fargo at least) were in the 720's. I got a $4,000 SL and have been banking with them for over 10 years. I also have the Platinum Visa since 2017 and a PLOC with them. I have yet to get a CLI on anything with Wells Fargo even though I PIF and use the crap out of my cards. No late payments either.

I app’d for both about a couple of months apart last year. Got $9K SL with USB Cash+ and $10K with WF Propel. WF pulled my EX9 in the 770s and USB my EQ8 in the 760s. No existing relationship with both prior to the app.
IMO they’re both very awesome cards to have and even better to go hand in hand.
USB has the 5% category on utilities, cellphone and internet and the Propel is a good travel and dining and gas card at 3pts. Both also have nice SUBS and no AF.
I highly recommend both but if you must only have one then it would greatly depend on your spend.
CLIs for USB are 99% HP whereas WF does SP CLI then will ask your permission for a HP if they can’t grant you a SP one.
Aesthetically the Propel is thicker, nicer since it’s a contactless metal card while the USB Cash+ is just a regular plastic non-contactless one.

not sure which but it would be 1 of the best reward , I am aware of the profile incl my score and utl that would drum up the offer but i just want to see what people that actually had either both or one of the cards felt about the card and the Fin Inst!

I do bank with Wells fargo for 8 years biz account and 3 other but i dont care about that whats important is how there CC division is .

I believe they are both relationship driven banks. In both cases you would get a higher sl if you have a relationship with them. If you don't have a relationship with either go for the one you will benefit from with the higher rewards spend.

I do appreciat the insight in depth , while i assume i should recieve a High SL on both and might consider both as well. I just got the Synvous about 30 days ago and before that only had 1 HP for TU so i would have to let that cool off for 5 mo and make it 6mo for the app on USB , and as for WF I have 4 accounts with them incl Biz account tons of offers and I knwo they pull EX its around 800 798 , last pull was 8 mo ago at 3 HP total on EX. that being said maybe i will pull trigger together in 5 mo or a few mo apart ..

i have personal acounts with wf and wf advisors and got a $11,000 sl. That us with a young file. I applied for tge us bank cash+ with no relationship, and got a $1,000 sl, and after 6 months increased to $2,000.

Without prior relationship with either bank

6 years ago, got US bank cash+ with 12K SL, fico was about 760-780.
They treat me great, i have to call multiple time to REDUCE CL they gave me automatically, later they approved me Club carlson card and PLOC with high CL also.

In April this year, got propel with 12K CL after month long ID check, fico was 830-840 range. No CL movement (yet).

I got my Propel in 8/18, had a small 401K with them, and got a 10K CL. I maxed it out quickly and got a 2K increase about 6 months later.

I like the card. They have Amex offers and Earn More Mall offers. You can stack EMM with 3% categories. It's a good travel card (gas, dining, tolls, parking, rental cars, hotels, airfare at 3%) and cell phone insurance. They have travel insurance and rental car insurance which are decent.

I looked at Cash+ but for me the 5% categories are ones I can't easily max out.

Very Intresting and great SL on both..I have heard that US bank has a good CS but there On line service was not as good.

I appreciate your insight and exper.

I have not heard of the Club Carlson card but will look into it ..

Great SL and info .. I do appreciate it and dont expect high CLI but assume by Starting CL should be 10-15 on wells .. US bank not certain yet .. I do know that the co branded cards for amex are good as i have the Hilton amex.. I have also seen there great cats for the propel card. which i was thinking to lean towards , also seeing i have a history with them ..

Club Carlson card is worthless after big devaluation few years back, i reduce my CL on card from 15K to 1K and downgrade to an AF free version just keep the points live.
