I think it was last year that there was an offer through Amazon to use MR points to pay for part of a purchase and get $ off. I just wanted to share that this weekend the offer of $30 off a purchase of $60 or more if I used any MR points as part of the payment. Since the convertion rate is TERRIBLE I only used $0.05 worth of MR points to get the $30 off.
The fine print stated it was a targeted and non transferable.

Yes have had this as well and think used 100 mr's for like 30 off amazon purchase.. worth it.

This offer pops up every so often.

When it does, I always use 1 single MR point.

Also seems to matter how long it's been since you've taken advantage of a similar offer. For example, I'm not eligible when I try for it now. I think the last time I got it was a few months ago.

@Anonymous, it's something that pops up as a payment option in Amazon, if you have a MR earning card saved as a payment card. Here's what it looks like
