Can I link a different cashback card to the business debit card or does it have to be the pp mastercard? What are the options for someone who already has the business account but never got the pp mc?

You can no longer link any card to the debit card as backup funding.

This ability was removed early this year. When it was working, only PayPal Mastercards were allowed.

Not that I am aware of. However, Paypal sometimes has promotions. Like right now, I see a promo for $20 back on $750 spend on the business debit. That is 2.67% back if you have an upcoming purchase you are planning to PIF anyway.
