Just wondering how much annual fee each members pay? Mine Is $735 (4 credit cards) When do you say enough?

A little over $2k at present.

It's less about the total gross AFs and more about whether each card is worth the AF due to credits, rewards, perks, retention offers, etc.

$195. Enough is when I no longer get positive expected value from the card.

$250 Gold, $95 each on BCP, Hilton Surpass, and Delta Gold. Total $535. This likely will become $440 as I’ll probably downgrade Delta to the no-AF Blue in December, as I’m not a frequent flyer, not partial to Delta, and am not all that impressed with the Skypeso earnings and redemptions, and perks vs AF of the card.

CSR(450)+Gold(250)+Delta Gold (100)+AAPS/AAPABIZ (200)=1000.

So far I only paid Gold AF once. I will be downgrading Delta gold when 1 year is up. Will ask for retention offer on Gold. Will keep csr for one more year and reevaluate earning after that. Will keep AA cards for a year and see if I can make at least two reduced milage bookings.

CSR(450)+Amex Gold(250)+Delta Business(95 i believe)+Barclay AA Business(95 waived for life somehow through a retention call))+IHG(49). So really not that bad once your take 300 out of CSR for very liberal travel credits. I might have one more AF card that I forgot, but at work and don't have my brick of cards on me and its to early in day to waste brain cells . I am thinking about a few other higher AF premium cards, but have yet to stomach more AF's or evaluate the value of the cards vs. rewards/perks

There is no such thing as enough, provided they return their value. If my three cards are saving me $5,000/year via rewards, paying $1,000 is a bargain.

I pay $363 a year in annual fees:

$25 - American Express Zync

$49 - Chase IHG Select

$95 - Diners Club Premier

$95 - Bank of America Premium Rewards

$99 - Chase Marriott Bonvoy Premier Plus Business

I also have the Barclays Aviator Business card, but the AF is waived for me. The last four offer specific benefits that easily defray and exceed the cost of their AFs. Zync generally gets better AmEx offers than my other cards from them, so it has been a worthwhile expense.

$190 ($95 Alliant Signature, $95 CSP) but both cards waive the AF for the first year, which is up in Jan on the Alliant card and next Oct for CSP. I expect to downgrade Alliant to the non-AF version. I'll know by next Oct whether CSP is actually worth it (vs CSR or CS or something else).

Roughly ~$3K. The AF ROI value, perks, intangibles is definitely a bargain for my usage.

Let's see... for this year...

Gold was a keeper, so that's $250

I will not be paying AFs on the Delta Gold Biz or Hilton Biz as I'll be cancelling both when they turn a year old. I did pay $95 when I got the Hilton Biz, but it came with a $100 statement credit so I won't count that.

Chase IHG is a keeper... a free room each year for $49 is a pretty good deal to me.

Citi Premier... no AF this year. I downgraded the one I had and got a new one which had it waived the first year. I'll pay $95 next year. If I keep this up, I'll only have to pay every other year and I can still churn a 50-60K point bonus each opposite year. Worth it.

So that's $299 this year, and probably $394 next year. Although I'll be under 5/24 as of February so there's no telling what I'll get myself into.

Last year was $195 for PRG (right before it turned Gold) + $49 IHG + $95 Premier = $339.

I've earned a few thousand $$$ in rewards, so it works out.

+1 (I pay for the exuctive membership, and got my 2% back check a few weeks ago for over $300 so it's like i get my membership refunded plus more)

Amex Platinum = $550

Amex (Rose) Gold = $250

Chase Sapphire Preferred = $95

Capital One Platinum = $29.99 (My 1st card)

*(Recently downgraded Amex Blue Cash Preferred to the no AF version)

$95 for the CSP. If you include Amazon Prime in order to get the card add on $119 but I would be paying for prime with or without the card.
