Target RedCard & BillPay

Hope this is the right forum ...

I'd like to pay my Target RedCard via my bank's BillPay function. It asks for the biller's name and the only three possibilities I see that could possibly fit are:

1. TD Bank

2. Target; or

3. TD Bank Retail Credit

Has anybody paid their Target RedCard via BillPay before? Which of the above three billers should I select? Or is there a different one to use?

Does your Bill Pay service display an address for the payee depending on which one you select? And, does such address (if provided) match the one from the Target statement?

I would too but sometimes they (for me, Synovus) send the check and the check arrives a couple of days late, I have called when I didn't see the check funds deducted. I'd be worried about the "late" arrival part. If your bank cannot auto locate, you should be able to enter the Biller Name, address, and account number and have it notated on the check as well.

Ok, just a sec ... I need to edit my answer as I misread FinStar's post.

@FinStar: No, if you select one of the three I mentioned it doesn't show anything except a space to enter the account number and a nckname for the biller.

@GApeachy: Going that route, though, means they send a paper check. I was trying to avoid that. If you choose one of the billers they have on file, it's done electronically (faster). By the way, on a totally unrelated note ... just love your name!!!!

Oh, I know but not always, or not in my case. ie. Georgia Power I had an incident where an unusally high power bill was sent via snail mail, without my knowledge, the reason? Synovus said to give me time to correct. I was very frustrated with lack of communication. You cannot count on Bill Pay always, at least with my bank and experience. Just wanted to point that out just in case......would stink to get a late fee for no good reason.
