CLI Question

Happy daylight savings time change! Hate it.

I have three bank credit cards BOA $500.00 limit. 0 balance. I have had it for 2.5 years. It use to be secured and I received the deposit back about 1.5 years ago.

USAA AMEX $2,000.00 limit. $400.00 balance, 1.5 years old.

Capital One $200.00 limit. 0 balance. 3 yrs old.

I also have a HD credit card. $3,500.00 limit w/$0 balance

I'm trying to avoid any HDs on my credit so I won't apply for any new cars but will attempt to get a CL on existing cards that will do a SP only. What are you recommendations to which CCs I should ask for a CLI? Thanks.

My current scores are: EX 715, EQ 737, TU 713

I stated in my post that I won't apply for any new "cars"...I meant cards.

BOA is a SP - ask for a large amount and let them counter with the highest CL they're willing to offer

Cap1 - SP

USAA / HD tend to be HP's

To increase your chances pay down the balance and give it time to report

@Vulcan1 , I would ask BoA and Cap1 ..usually SP's .. HD is a HP fer sure, and I do not know much about USAA.
