Has anyone ever received an offer like this for the Amex App. I surprised this is a soft hit and they explicitly state how much they want it increase it by.

The SP isn't the surprise to me but offering to increase to a stated amount is. This isn't the app it's the mobile website but still something I haven't see before. Any datapoints you can provide such as how old the account is, spend on it, any other AMEX accounts, etc

I agree with SimplyNoir .. Ive been with Amex for 3 years and excellent history on 3 tradelines and never seen this. Id like to see the answer .

SP is normal at any CLI.

Member Since 2002 and the first time I have seen it. Looks like a slam dunk! You may consider going to the credit line increase screen and asking for more if you want or need it. Amex will grant a CLI up to 3x your current limit if you are eligible and it is always a soft pull.

That is interesting. I've either just received auto CLI or requested one. Never had them ask if I want it.

SP CLI is pretty standard for Amex, but actually OFFERING you a stated increase is unusual. Lucky you! Congrats!

Surely The account is 6 years old . The Account has remained at the 10K limit since I got approved back in 2013 . It’s a Blue Cash Preferred and I don’t have any other AMEX cards It’s not my highest limit but it is second to NFCU at 17.5K . I spend about 2K a month through the card for gas and groceries and PIF each month . This increase comes in at a handy time as I was thinking about applying for the Regular Chase Freedom come January once their Q1 Calendar categories are revealed with Chase since I don’t have any of their cards yet
