    <description>&lt;P&gt;I'm not privey to GApeachy's issues surrounding the changeover.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;However, OP's situation is hardly worth calling in and being frustrated over. Did you even read any correspondence from them?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Your existing cards still work up and until you call to activate the new one. I have had no issues in either regard, so I'm not sure what the issue is you're really having?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Now if your old SYNCH card stopped being accepted, and you didn't have the replacement. Then I would see cause for concern, thus calling them for a resolution.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <title>Walmart Capital one issues</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;So I opened a Walmart card in early/mid 2019 and I'd been using it quite a bit for things we need around the house. Synchrony notified us of the change to Capital One and I was actually excited because I find my Cap1 cards to grow pretty quickly. Well, I definitely was too optimistic because the switch over has been a total nightmare. I was told I'd get my new card by mid October. It never came. I've called no less than 4 times to order my replacement card and every time they gave me a weird half-answer as to why I couldn't be helped. Once, their system was down. Another time they said the wait would be until March (MARCH?!) ... I can't be the only person having this problem. I can imagine there are probably lots of folks who plan on using their cards for holiday shopping only to be SOL come December ... I finally called a 5th time today and was able to get somebody to order me a replacement card but only after being on hold for a solid 15 minutes. What the hell is going on over there?&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Was your original card expired already or cannot use it at all? Did you received email saying specifically your new card (with last 4 digits) is on the way or was just an general email saying the new card may be send out starting Oct?&lt;/P&gt;</description>

Although, I wouldn't cancel the card just yet,&amp;nbsp; you may have to hound them on a daily and perhaps suggest closure &lt;U&gt;but who'd really care..seriously.&lt;/U&gt;&amp;nbsp; Once they clean up the saw dust off the floor I think it will be a good card, let's hope.       <description>&lt;P&gt;Transition has been smooth on my end so far. All the language was saying to use your old card til the new one arrived. Everything works as it should. On the CapOne app, it now has the language on there saying activate new card but have yet to receive it.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;As far as hounding CapOne goes, you'd have better luck barking at the neighbor's dog about physics... They. Do. Not. Care.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>Do you still have your old card? Does it not work anymore?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;My info from Capital one said they would send a new card sometime next year and keep using my existing card until then. So I have.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;No issues on my end either-the card was added to my capital one logon and it all works fine every week for me.</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;So it seems that i spoke too early about not ahving nay issues. I go ahead and make a payment on the 12/1 of $241 on a blance of $341, and come today I log in to figure out why it hasn't been pulled from my account. Well it was returned for some odd reason. And on the 5th, the due date they even assessed the $28 late fee...&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;8 years with SYNCH and I haev never had an issue sucha s this. So I politely called in and asked why it was returned and of course they have no idea. So i told her fine, reverse the fee and I'll make the $28 minimum payment now. And that ove the dust settles I'll decide whether to close or not, or just never use it again. Cap1 at their finest....&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I know, I know it's probably my fault for not checking earlier before the actual due date to see if it posted or not. But I've been kind of busy lately. Yet this is the first time this has happend in the last, IDK, 10-15 years? And it's Cap1 of all places right after a takeover?&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
