Balance Tranfer from wife cc to husband's cc

My DH just got approved for NFCU Platinum Card. BT 0% fee 0% apr for 12 months. We have a couple cards with the 0% intro ending soon. Some are in my name, some in his, some AU. Mobile banking asks for account #, amount and who's primary on the cc. For accounts I'm primary and he's AU or he is not even on it can we BT to his NFCU Platinum?

Yes.

As long as none of the transfered balances are on NFCU accounts, you can transfer them to the new card regardless of who's name is on the account.

Thank you. It's mostly cards like Lowes and Home Depot that we use the promo period to purchase things for our new home. Lowe's is in my name and Home Depot is in his so I just wanted to make sure we could BT my Lowe's card so I don't get hit with the deferred-interest.

Just seconding this. My DH and I do this as needed, as well. We are each constantly getting 0% BT offers and there's never been an issue with moving balances from one of our cards to the card of the other--so long as it's not from one issuer's card to that same issuer's card (NFCU to NFCU, BofA to BofA, etc.).

If there is usually one thing this season tends to bring about with lenders is balance transfer offers. I can probably wall paper a small part of my house with the recent email and snail mail offerings.

PenFed actually mailed checks...got them this weekend. I know they have the standard rolling 0/3/12 but this offer I believe was for 0.99/3/18. Also received a snail mail (almost looked like a Christmas card) from NFCU which is offering 0% for 6 months on $500+ on my Platinum card and there is no enrollment required.

Citi is showing a lot of offers for me as well. Some longer and shorter which a slight variance in rates but they are there.

For those who need to take advantage of the offers...enjoy as it seems to be raining BT offers.
