Amex Pre-Qualify. Is it Legit 🧐

For some reason I want a **bleep** AMEX. i currently have a Discover Card which started with a CL of $1600 8/1/18 my limit was increased in March of 2019 and recently increased again to $3200 12/11/19. I also have a Wells Fargo Visa which started at $500 and was increased to $900 in October 2019. My EX 770 EQ 768 TU 745. I am prequalified for Amex Everyday / Delta Gold / Amex Platinum / Magnet / Hilton Honors. i have no late payment history my Utilization is 3%. i don’t want to apply n another inquiry is on there currently have 3 including a denial from Amex in December of 2018. Sorry for the book however anxious 🤦🏾‍♂️

Hi Termain and welcome to the forums. AMEX prequals are pretty solid, so I have no doubt you’ll be approved for one of those cards.

I prequalified for the AMEX everyday and was approved a while back and from what I’ve read their pre quals are solid. Good luck.

I would say if your pre-qual APR is a solid, and not a range, Go for it!

I would say your chances are better now than a year ago since your Discover has aged well over a year.

::: 🥁 Roll :: i took all of your advice and stared at the submit button and said F it and applied... I got a we can’t give you a decision right now .. i’m sure it was because of my fraud alert. i called they called me back Verified and I was approved .. Decided on the Gold Delta Sky Miles Since I travel a lot ‘m Super Stoked have no idea what my CL will be however the prequalify stayed limit may be $10K. Thanks guys 🥰🥰
