Wells Fargo Propel bonus eliminated?

I was thinking of grabbing this card and went to the Wells Fargo Propel web page and I don't see the 30,000 point bonus anymore. It appears to have been eliminated.

Can anyone confirm if the bonus has been eliminated?

I'm about 5 weeks away from hitting my $3000/30K bonus. I almost hesitated when applying last November, but now I'm glad I did!

It's showing 20k points after 1k spend now. I grabbed it in Dec and currently have the 30k points after 3k spend offer.

Looks like they changed the offer for the new year. This is closer to what most other cards are offering though, the 3k spend requirement was kind of high compared to other cards

Yep, there was a Reddit discussion about it a few days ago. The WF Propel SUB changed from 30,000 pts after $3,000 to 20,000 pts after $1,000. Depending on one's natural spend the new lowered minimal requirement may work out better for some.

I have noticed several similar SUB reductions lately, but mostly on Biz cards. Might or might not be a trend.

The sub was removed after the 1st and now seems to be back.

Looks like it has been reduced.

20,000 bonus points when you spend $1,000 in purchases in the first 3 months – a $200

Glad I got it when it was first out of the gate.

I'm not sure this is really a reduction but rather that they're going after a slighly different consumer, but with an increase. One who might have less spend every month. $300 for 3,000 is harder to obtain for the lighter spender, but $1,000 is a lot easier to obtain.

Its an increase because they're offering $200 for 1,000 spend. They could have offered $100 for $1,000. $200 looks kind of aggressive. $300 for 1,000 spend would be ultra-aggressive.

If they offered $200 for $3,000 spend, that's a decrease. $100 for $3,000 spend is, "we'll take you, thank you, but we're more established now".

Maybe it will simply raise and lower same as other offers. I was looking at this card, but now I'll definitely wait for the 30K offer!

But as Cardnut sort of implies, this offer could be considered to be better. You get 10K less but need to spend $2K less, which can then be used on another SUB. Plus, if the card is worth getting, you can use its benefits earlier, rather than waiting for an offer that might not appear.

I've got one foot in the garden anyways, so no hurry. Just as long as it doesn't go any lower! lol

Sure a lower spend requirement is nice for such reasons, but I don't go around grabbing multiple offer at the same time.

My approach is a tad more casual.

Glad I signed up when I did. I timed my app to a vacation, so between airfare, hotel, shows, and normal spend, i had no problem meeting the $3,000 spend, without spending anything I wouldn't have anyways, all within my income.
