Since I am no longer flying American Airlines, I called CIti yesterday to see if I could PC the AAdvantage WEMC to the Citi Premier. Very easy process with the CSR and completed in minutes. When she read the specifics, she stated the new card would have a new number. My question is, does this now report as a new account rather than keeping the history from the AAdvantage?

No, it will simply replace the current account on your credit reports. Were you not eligible for the SUB on Premier?

IKR, Premiere is the last card I'd PC to if I was eligibel for the SUB. I'd have gone to DC or Simplicity before that, or reallocated and closed it.
