What Card Can't You Get Approved For

Just curious if anyone else has a card they can't get approved for. For me, it's the Macy's card. I have never been able to get approved. Didn't matter if I had good or bad credit. I also have never been approved for a comenity store card.

Is this a card we haven't applied for because we know we wouldn't get approved or actual attempts where they tell you "no cheddar for you"?

DH and I virtually have the same credit profiles, he has 2 cards from them, they deny me every time.

Citibank-DH

He does have homedepot and Macy’s but any basic Citicard he gets denied for BK from 2005. Long memory

I've thought about the Freedom Unlimited every now and then to replace my old MP Club's 1.5x earning, but every time I bring it up my spouse says no.

So far my only denial was CFU but when I first appd I had no other cards.

If we're counting cards we haven't attempted but know we cant get: Amex Centurion! (I would never be able to afford AF lol)

Feel like this shouldn't count because you can't apply for it you have to be invited

Basically any card i apply for.

100% for sure Penfed, any card, instant rejection and the ubiquitous DC Power Visa. Im sure glad i got cards when i did cuz nobody would approve even with 740-750 scores

Because I'm as stubborn as it gets, and also a masochist, I've applied and been denied either 3 or 4 times for the Barclays JetBlue card both personal and business.

Too many new accounts in 24 months is always the reason and I keep going for it knowing I won't get it. I must really enjoy the pointless battles with Barclays 'recon' specialists.

By next month, I should be down to 5/24 and by August 3/24 if I don't apply for anything else. For all my denials, I've been above 13/24.

And now that I'm finally going to be within a reasonable range to be approved, I don't want the card anymore since I had to ask my DW to get it last year.

The gist of it usually comes down to me already having 3 cards and that I really don't need more. She really only flies when I'm traveling with her, so she goes Delta or United since that's where my miles/status are. That said, she has around 500,000 UA miles in her account if you consider that being a United flyer.

I started my credit journey in 2014 after more than 20 years of no CCs. I went through 30 CCs. Still have 11, closed the rest. The only two rejections I had were BBVA NBA and PenFed. PenFed then gave me a $25k card. At this point I don't know which card I will not get approved for. At the same time, PenFed was the biggest challenge. I conquered the challenge and really have no need for any other CC. Once you hit a certain credit limit you no longer want to take a chance on another lender low balling you.

haven't applied yet but i submit on the prequalify page and no offers have popped up yet in the past few months.

have a chase bank account and no offers under the credit journey tab either.

Though I haven't tried for it yet, the AMEX BCP. That card and the Gold do not show on my account...the BCP is the one that I want to apply for this summer after my mortgage closes and can't figure why I can't get it to populate on my account page when I show pre approved for all other cards

Does that incluse 5/24? I am stuck in Chase purgotory until Nov., when I should be able to apply for the Amzon Visa. Might be interested In the UMB DC card, but from what I have read they are INQ sensitive, so I havn't tried applying, espessaly since I have not seenan approvals on the forums.

PenFed has told me "no" twice. US Bank AR was the only ever denial I've ever received, but with a little time I won them over.

I've been denied by Credit One and a bunch of other sub-sub-prime cards on pre-quals - I wouldn't have gone through with the application though.

Denied by Apple Card, which I'd prefer to the PayPal MC most of the time because it can be used with my phone and watch.

I can’t apply for Chase because I’m so Lololol/24 it’s silly. I’d love a pass on that though.

Actually BoA is my nemesis. Two attempts and two denials. Not even PR apps. They don’t like my profile and won’t touch me. Oh well...part of me cares cus they said no, mostly don’t care though.
