Just an IT glitch. It happens. Call or chat to add it if it continues to not work for you.

Same. I've had a 1.99% / 9 month offer since Wednesday and have been unable to activate it. Posted on the forum about it then and another poster (Steve) mentioned having the same issue... so it's not just us.

I get those offers fairly frequently, but I PIF all my Amex cards rendering it useless. Oddly enough during the time I would have possibly used it, November, there weren't any offers. lol

But I have noticed glitches with several of their offers the last few times, as well as random account availablity issues.

The app seems to have glitches less often than the desktop website. Right now I can create a Plan on the app but not the website.

I can't combine multiple purchases into one Plan via the app as I can (usually) do on the desktop website, though.

Yes, true about the app being less glitchy. Unfortunately (at least in my case) the APR offer doesn't show up on the app; desktop only...¯\_(ツ)_/¯

The Amex site has been having lots of glitches lately. Sometimes it tells me I can't make a payment or that payment information is unavailable.

Other times it will show Amex Offers on one card and when I click a different card I get the "Oops" sorta message.

I have found that Amex site works best when I clear cookies and cache...and since that's hassle for most I just use their site in private mode/incognito and never seem to have any issues navigating that way.

Don't know if it'll help OP but if you haven't tried already you may want to see if doing so will yield a different result.

Yep. Either of those solutions often work for me too when the site is acting crazy --- but not in this case. Seems it's just broken.

I was able to create a multiple-transaction plan through the desktop website. Where my usual Firefox encountered an error screen, Chrome worked smoothly.

Combining transactions did not improve the payment period options, though. Still, equal payments over 12 months with no fee is nice.

I was asked to do a quick survey on the new upgrades to their site. So obviously they made a lot of changes. And when changes come, so do glitches. Hopefully they'll be fixed in the next week or two.
