I just leave mine at what it's been set at for years, doesn't matter that it's understating income by a non-trivial amount.

I have gotten several auto-CLI's from Chase over the years compared to many people on this forum but I also run my financial life through them. They get all my deposits, most of my credit card spend, both mortgage applications... they don't have my auto loan but who knows I might be able to reduce rate and reduce payment on that too once the mortgage closes so I'll go ask at that point. Guess depends what discount I get there, their GFE though on the mortgage side as CPC = winning.

Hey so I opened my Chase Marriott Bonvoy Nov. 16th. I am curious when my account might be eligible for an increase. Chase has requested I submit my current income. I am hoping this is a good sign of a near future increase? lol

They asked for POI or a 4506-T form, or just the usual "please update your income" splash screen? The last one is technically a requirement of the CARD Act but not all lenders prompt for it.

Has there been any marked improvement in your credit scores or overall profile since acquiring the card? You can ask Chase for a CLI at any time by calling or via secure message, but it will always be at least one HP. After only 2.5 months, I don't think I would burn one unless there has been a siginificant change. If you're asking about an auto-CLI, they're not that common but are usually triggered by high spend.

most card issuers ask for updated income yearly this is probably what you are seeing and they usually prefix it by "might make you eligible for a credit line increase" or the likes.. So don't put to much weight on it unless you are charging up to a few thousand of your limit most likely with chase your limit will remain the same.

That's a question that Chase often ask via pop-up when signing into your account. I've been asked a many of times and I have yet to receive an auto increase. Not complaining as Chase has always been very generous when assigning and initial limit thus not putting me in a position to ever need to ask for one either.

I always want higher limits, @Loquat LOL. But yeah, I've only ever had a single auto CLI from Chase (a big $1500 on Freedom last year - 12 years after opening it).

It has been asked multiple times. Maybe it is just a tech issue. It states "Please update your income so you can be considered for a cli".

My scores have increased 10 points since approval & an old derog fell off. I have high spend and I PIF before my statement cuts. I def. do not want to call in. I will sit back and relax.

I run 6-8K through the card but my limit is 5K. I won't get my hopes up for an auto increase and I def dont want any HPs. I am doing so good. only 1 HP per CRB.

I received a pop up when I first opened my account to update income.

Personally, I’d wait until the account has been open closer to 6 months. Just my opinion.
