Currently interested in the Barclay JetBlue plus card with the 60k offer, but is the offer just for well qualified applicants or does everyone that applies through the link receive it ?

If you're qualified enough to be approved for the card, it's what you get after hitting the required spend.

There may be some specific targeted promotion in play for you but this is a recurring targeted offer based upon being a TrueBlue member.

Those are strictly invitations to apply without any kind of prequalification made based on one's specific credit profile.

I first saw the offer in the Jet Blue app on my phone.

However, since Barclays (7/24) is almost as hard to get as Chase, I don't qualify.

Welcome to the forums, OP! Offers such as the one you saw are solicited, meaning the lender has really no idea who you are or what your credit profile looks like. That's not to say you can't apply, but you may have better approval odds if say you have a prequalified offer, meaning you meet some criteria based on your credit report. Neither of the two - solicited or prequalification, is a guaranteed approval.

Thanks for the info everyone , I know it's not a guaranteed approval. Just didn't want to get approved and then countered with another offer.

Just for reference, if now doesn't work for you, the last elevated sub offer for this card ended about 5 months ago. So it will probably roll around again at some point.

60k is the highest I've seen. It's usually 40k.

Speaking from experience, I never received any kind of solicitation for this card prior to getting it. I just happened to be booking a flight to Seattle and when I got to the payment page, this picture popped up. (just for kicks and giggles you should go try to book a flight and see if it pops up for you) It was TrueBlue member targeted I'm sure because I didn't have a "well qualified" credit profile at the time. I think my score was somewhere 710-720 ish, and only had starter credit cards i.e. Capital One and Credit One.

If you are a TB member and Jetblue is your main airline, this card is amazing! 12 ppd on jetblue purchases (6 ppd on the spend and 6ppd after booking on the website), free checked bag is awesome, 50% off in flight food & beverages, 10% miles back when booking award travel, And that SUB is very good, you can book a one way Mint flight with that bonus.

Its definitely my favorite card!

It is a good card if you fly JetBlue. 60k miles is nice for $1k spend. I was approved for $4,500 when my TU score was 654.

Hi, I received a pre-approval e-mail for the JetBlue card with the 60,000 point SUB, but I was just wondering if anyone knows by any chance approximately how many 1-way trips can be redeemed for, at the 60,000 point SUB offer? I applied and was approved for the BoA Amtrak card when they were offering the 40,000 point SUB last fall, and based on my Amtrak travel patterns and itineraries , I estimate that by the time I will have used up all of the 40,000 intro points, I will have received at least 10 free one-way trips, on Amtrak. And so again I was jc if anyone knows how far the JetBlue Plus 60,000 bonus pointrs can go in terms of redemptions, for free one-way flights? Thanks in advance!

If I recall, a $99 one-way ticket equates to 6,500 points.

A trip I'm leaving for in a few days was 33,500 points for 3 round trip tickets. Believe the prices were $59/ticket for one way and $79 for the trip back when I booked them. That doesn't take into account the 10% I'll get back after the flights.
