Navy and sensitive shouldn't really be in the same sentence honestly.

They're one of the most relaxed lenders around as long as they're getting paid.

They can be a bit tough with CLIs and second/third cards sometimes but it's not common.

I mean, it would never hurt to let inquiries fall of your CR's. Good luck if you decide to apply! 👍

I'm on a road to rebuild. Completely blank slate as of December 2019. In December I got a Citibank Secured Card ($500) Navy Secured ($200) both have reported twice. (1%utilization). Quicksilver unsecured ($300) two weeks ago. Reading the forums got me to check the Disco Prequal site. It said I was. So I applied for the IT. Hoping to get $500-$1000. I called to verify something and the rep said I was approved for $6500!! My motives are more so to have everything applied for around the same time so they can all age together. The only other card I would apply for within the next year would be a second Navy. Hence the post.

@Anonymous

Will they take into account my discover limits when it comes time to request a CLI?

@Anonymous

Navy is not sensative to inq's at all, I have had double digit inq's and still got approvals. With Navy it's more about DTI and your history with them. Even members on here with high Util, but Large payemnts ahve seen new cards and CLI's with little issue. Income will play a factor in this as well for the DTI part.

Just getting started, IMHO i would give it 6 months to build up history with them more than anything. Once they see you are using and paying responsibly, the doors with Navy will open like a floodgate.

Thank you. I feel like I have a good mix. The forums suggested starting with no AF cards early on so that even if some have toy limits that never grow I'll never have to close them. I'm sure Disco and my new Navy this summer will be my primary cards.

In short they're not at all, see my siggy.. there's more inq's on my tu than what's there. As others have said, all they really care about is a positive relationship.... you swipe and pay.... wash, rinse and repeat then the flood gate opens up for you just keep your dti in check every where else.
