Which card should I keep? Should I upgrade to CSR?

Hello,

This past year I loaded up on credit cards and now I'm trying to consolidate/close to maximize my rewards. Below is my lineup.

CSP

Citi Prestige

NFCU Flagship

Capital One Venture

Marriott Bonvoy Boundless

Apple Card

Uber Card

Capital One Quicksilver

American Express Platinum

I our roughly 12K-15K in travel/food expense on these cards combined a month.

should I upgrade to the CSR?

I'm just gonna go for the elephants in the room...are you putting travel expenses on QS and Apple card?

No, the QS is my oldest account and I rarely use it. The Apple Card is used for small expenses at stores that take Apple Pay. Most travel expenses are currently going on the Prestige/Flagship

To be honest, I'm not sure which system is the best. I've been focused more on building my credit availability and getting sign on bonuses in 2019, now it's time to focus on a reward system. I'm thinking to upgrade to the CSR and then downgrade/cancel the Prestige/Platinum to remove the annual fees.

You won't be getting rid of all AF's if PC'ing to CSR which has an AF of 550, but with your hefty spend on travel per month it may benefit you to have depending what you're looking for.

I think they meant to get rid of the AF for cards they don't really use.

If the Chase transfer partners and/or the CSR's 1.5x redemptions through the portal fit your needs then I say go for it. I will add as a disclosure that with your monthly travel spend if you decide to invest in another rewards program that would be okay, too. Again, just have to identify what you want from your spend going forward
