I just got an email from BB&T offering 5% on groceries and pharmacies until 4/15 for relief for the pandemic. Pretty cool gesture!

Thanks @Gmood1 !!!! I didn't get any emails or see anything in online banking, but 5% on groceries sounds pretty good right about now. I think my grocery spending has nearly doubled since I've been stuck at home so much!

I've noticed how empty the roads have become over the last week. Two of the positive things I can say about the current environment.

Gas is cheap and commuting traffic is light!!

@rehabbinANDblabbing, I just got my card last month and I just got the email this morning, regarding the 5% off and it was at the bottom of the email, below the drive thru being available and the branch being now by appointment only.

I did find it on their website. You have to click into their COVID-19 response page, and scroll down a bit. There it says "all BB&T and SunTrust cardholders will receive 5% cash back on select grocery and pharmacy purchases until...." That's pretty surprising that they are even giving the cash back to cardholders that don't get rewards. I'm really glad I picked up this card now.
