AOD Visa Siggy - External Account payment set up

Hey AOD fam!

I want to set up an external account to pay the balance of my card. How do we do that.

Easy to do, but will let someone else go through the screen shot part.. Certainly offer pull payments from external accounts. Sorry busy with my real work of would take several screen shots

It's not difficult. Log into AOD website and choose AOD VISA Credit from the top navigation bar (make sure popups are enabled). If you haven't been there before you'll have to set up your VISA account. Once that's done or if you already did it, in the new window that pops up, choose Make A Payment on the right hand side of the screen. The default tab is one-time payment, second tab is automatic payments.

Very easy. Shouldn't need screenshots 😂

@Anonymous I'm over here cursing you cause nothing shows up when I click on AOD VISA credit, but then I switched browsers from Safari.

That's weird I'm not able to make payments in the card control app. I guess it's a good thing we own a laptop.

@CreditCuriosity Maybe when you have some time you can explain to me what a pull payment is. Is that just a different term for setting up payments from an external account?

Chrome on iOS throws a popup blocked message that allows you to force it to always show so I'm just using Chrome to check my AOD accounts from my phone but I hope that the functionality of the app is expanded soon.

Pull payment is when you set up a payment from one account to be pulled from another. Push payment is when you set up a payment to be sent from one account to another. Your bank's bill pay is a push where using a credit card's website to initiate a payment is a pull.

All you have to do is run the browser in desktop mode on your phone. It will display the AOD Visa Tab. Which will allow you to set everything up.

I just love the fact you started this questions with "Hey AOD fam!" because half the forum has an AOD siggy in their...well...siggy. If I wasn't 4/24 and wanting to lockdown Chase next month I would be all over that. Maybe after I get approved for chase it will still be around!

Are you guys seeing your credit card apr online?

I do not see it in my paperwork when I applied as my EQ was locked initially, so I had to start over with a more internal bank version of the application that doesn't show much but my CL. APR isn't that big of a deal but this could be the lowest apr card I have ever had.

I may have to email and find out. I was kinda hoping it would be on the approval mailer but it wasn't.

Well depending on your 4/24. The AOD has already reported and won't report again until this time next month.

So if you're planning to grab a Chase card before the 25th of next month, you should be good to go with grabbing the AOD.

Interestingly enough, there has been no benefits guide mentioned or received so far but the card has a phone number for the concierge on it so it's obviously got a number of Siggy benefits.

My account opening disclosure has my APRs but that's the only place I have seen them.

@Gmood1 I don't get the card control options to pop up when I'm using desktop on my phone. I think @Anonymous needs to be the forum advocate to call and have them fix the app on our behalf. 😆

@Gmood1 I have an iPhone, so I downloaded Firefox in the off-chance Safari doesn't work. Maybe I need to switch to Chrome.
