Have a Cash+(9k), BMW(12K) and VS Real Rewards(5k). Thinking of reducing the limits to both Elan cards down to 1k each to free up limits. My plan is to get a second Cash+. Maybe freeing the limits up US Bank will be generous on CLIs and the SL on my 2nd Cash+. My Cash+ will be a yr old in July and don't use the 2 Elan cards. Good idea?

Hey FettHutt,

I am not sure US Bank is one of those bank that will move limits around. So I not sure this is a good idea. I know Chase at least used to do this but times are different.

Fee

Elan and US Bank are separate entities/issuers, they won't shift one across another.
