Chase CLI - New application

I have no relationship with Chase at all AND this is the first Chase trade line.

When I am not happy with SL shown - my initial SL was around 30k with Citi and BoA last year, the underlined paragraph - if you want diffrent credit line...... has any real meaning?

And if I call and ask, will it be an another HP?

Typically, chase will give you the highest limit they're comfortable giving on approval. You can recon, but can expect a hard pull as they hard pull for everything.

That is a pretty decent limit, if you ask for more? ..it will be a HP and no guarantee that you would get anymore.

Got it.... I think still worth it since I stay at IC hotels a lot and they treat me accordingly. Just not happy with initial SL when I know it will not grow much.

While they were nothing earth shattering, I've had 3 SP CLI's so far. The last one happened when I put ~$3500 in plane tickets on my CSP which had a $5K CL at the time. At statement cut, they raised my CL to $6500.

Show Chase you need a higher line with heavy use. They tend to take notice and SP CLI's can happen.

🤔 and yes HP! 9.999 out of 9.999 times DP's suggest a HP and you are into a separate day already. Definitely Yes!

- Chase is near Ultra conservative in my opinion.

Personally I would prefer another card with Chase rather than a HP CLI and even attempting to obtain that I, for myself, would wait at least 31days from that last Chase approval.

BOOM! Congrats! That's a FANTASTIC SL with Chase, so you should be happy! That being said, call them and ask for more. Won't hurt.

I dunno, I struggled with AR when it was $9K, because on average, my statements were between $5000 and $7000.

I was paying like it was $300.00 Cap One platinum.

Generous can only be defined in the context of spend.

With that said, my Citi at $6700 is more than generous because my spend on it is a mandatory pack of gum, with occasional Kinder Egg.
