I got this one yesterday. Stacked on top of any of those chosen as a 5% category would be a nice bonus! Unfortunately, those are not my categories.

I got this offer, as well. Since they differentiate between Restaurants and Fast Food, I am assuming Fast Food isn't eligible for this. So you'd be looking at 3% on Restaurants if it's normally your 2% category. Not bad, but this won't do much for me unless/until I max out Discover for Q3. And Altitute Go would still be a better backup option.

Am I reading this correctly that you spend first $200, then you start earning an additional 1% on $201 to $1,000 on restaurants, or on $250 to $1,050 on grocery, or $300 to $1,100 on home imp?

So to get all the $30 bonus, you spend $3,150????

I guess it's better than last year where you had to spend $10,000 to get the total $20 bonus.

That's how I am reading it. Seems pretty not generous unless I'm misunderstanding.

The fine print below the photo clarifies it a little more:

1To be eligible for this offer that runs through August 31, 2020 (promotion period), you need to enroll by July 31, 2020. Cardmember can earn up to $10 in statement credits in each of the below categories for a maximum statement credit of $30.

•	Make $200 or more in net purchases at Restaurants and on Food Delivery and earn a 1% statement credit, up to $10.
•	Make $250 or more in net purchases at Grocery Stores and earn a 1% statement credit, up to $10.
•	Make $300 or more in net purchases at Home Improvement and Hardware Stores and earn a 1% statement credit, up to $10.

The way I am reading that is that you earn an extra 1% as a statement credit (not as rewards earnings) on the $200/$250/$300 in purchases as long as you meet the minimum required spending in each category, not that the 1% bonus doesn't kick in until after the first $200/$250/$300 in each category. So doing the minimum spending in each category would be $7.50 in rewards, not $0.00, the way I am reading it. But yes, it's not totally generous since it would be $30 for $3000 spend, but that is 1% which is what the offer is.
