LANGLEY Pre-approved CC Offer

I mentioned this buried in a PenFed thread so I decided to give this topic a thread of its owm. Going into my Langley account this morning I got a pre-approved offer for a CC. Since the offer is good for 90 days I decided not to take it for now seeing I'm only 2 months removed from initial membership with Langley and getting declined for a CC (declined again on the recon). Wanted to check with my fellow MFers if they ever got such an offer from Langley, be it now or in the past, and if so how did you make out?

How long have you been a member?

I joined in January. And applied for the Cash Rewards Visa. They told me to kick rocks!😆

6 months later, they give me a pre-approval with more new accounts than I had then.😂

It's about what I expected.

This credit thing, doesn't run in a straight logical line.

Sometimes doing just the opposite of what you'd assume works.

Is what works.😂😂

I joined First Tech CU several years ago.Never saw an offer for credit the entire time. They wait until I cancel my membership. And now send me pre-approvals for a CC and a personal loan.🤔

Makes absolutely no sense!!😆

Oh I am not complaining I have 2 credit cards with them 14K and 10K, 5 months since I joined. I was just curious where they were and wondering if this would also offer CLIs .

@Wavester64 Hey I know it's been about a month, but I was checking my account yesterday and saw a pre approved offer for the cash back visa, $7,500 @ 15%

I accepted it and submitted it same day. They called me this morning and sent me the docusign. I signed and sent it back. They said card would go out today or tomorrow. Extremely easy process.

When I joined a few months back they turned me down, so I was surprised when I logged in to find an offer there.
