what credit cards should I apply for, eq680 tu633 experian652 have one secure card for $500 from 5th third bank and 2 judgment from 2004

You should not have a problem getting a card with those scores..

Delta sky AMEX

Juniper

HSBC

score changed eq 649 ex 694 tu 630 who pulls strickley experian in chicago

Ditto on the AMEX, nix on the Juniper with your decent scores, so so on HSBC.

Since this is your first non-secured, get something you will like for the duration... no annual fees, convertable, etc. The AMEX is good for that. I think they pull all 3 though.

I recommend WaMu... they seem to be pulling EX lately BUT usually had pulled TU and the occasional EQ in some instances. Your scores seem good enough regardless of what they pull on you.

They are BK friendly, so would probably be a bit more forgiving on those judgements IMHO. IF they have sent you a preapproval offer, take it.

I have a question. Do you think Amex would care if that judgements are paid? because i read some where that if your all collections are paid then Amex does not care.

Patelco Credit Union. EX puller exclusively and great rates on cards under 9%.

i would say orchard , hooters,and juniper ,because my score actually les then yours untill now ,and i get approved for orchard ,and hooters .but i have one paid judgment 2004,and one bk 2005 .

but for experian the judgments dont show. I onley owe $880 on my car which was $9,800 do you think I Should pay off the car before I apply or that little balance wont matter much.

Ditto means in agreement, nix means don't do it.

Regarding your paid judgements and AMEX, I personally would go for a MC or Visa right now because AMEX might pull all 3 credit reports and the judgements *might* be a problem.

I think you might want to just go WaMu. They'll pull EX only (most likely... they do surprise us) and will give you a nice CL... no need to pay anything off. Instant approval too.

Your scores are high enough so that you don't need to get a Juniper or other real sub prime. HSBC you would be able to get too but in my opinion, WaMu is farther up on the prime ladder... so again, I would apply for that.

what about Hooters... very sub prime it seems but there interest rate starts at 7.75% if you have good credit and have heard cli as high as 7500 starting off... sounds more generous then wamu from what im reading... do both!

I'm mixing threads, on another post he said experian 694 with 2 collection accounts and one late... but I just backtracked here and re-read that the collections were never on EX. We need a new test bunny.
