Anyone get a recent CLI on Barclay's JetBlue Plus???

Trying to grow this card, but I got a HP on my only CLI from $10K to $15K in October 2019. I don't know if the Covid crisis has tightened up the criteria for a CLI, now. I called them to ask if it was permissible to approve a CLI without the HP, and was told no. Anyone had any luck getting around the HP for a CLI? I could write a letter if you think it would hurt or help?

I am not aware of any path for a SP CLI with Barlcay's on any account.

The last time I saw that was 2016 and it was an automatic CLI

They had a loophole but since closed it. All CLI's will be HP if you request them.

do you actually need more than 15k right now? What lind of spend are you putting on it ? If needed sometimes a hp is well worth it but in today's economic climate i woulx pick and choose your battles carefully 😉

I've been perfectly content with the 15k SL they gave me last year. Barclays very touchy in a normal economic climate; there's no telling what they could decide to do with what's going on now.
