yeah..unless you get preapproved offers from chase themselves, i think all cards will be effected by the rule.

No individual CARDS are exempt from the 5/24 rule for applying online or by phone.

However, I have seen mentioned on this forum that if you walk into a Chase branch, you may be excepted (and accepted! Lol) and can be approved for a card despite this rule.

I'm asking because Chase wont approve with BK on file, so whichever family member is applying, it needs to be BK free app.

Best guess is OP was hoping it only counted towards the core cards which was true when they first instituted the rule

I still recall "The Great Chase System Glitch of 2019" when 5/24 was bypassed but NOT BK auto decline!

What really hurts is Chase putting pre-approval for SW card, and the only things I'm less interested in are cats and cooking.

A @simplynoir said, there was a time where Amazon didn't count. The 5/24 rule was sort of "phased in" with extra cards being covered.

From DoctorofCredit:

This rule was originally implemented on Chase branded cards (e.g Freedom & Sapphire Preferred) in June of 2015 and then extended to most co-branded cards (e.g United/Marriott) on May 23rd, 2016.

And then in Nov 2018, it seemed to be all cards.

I don't want Connect, I have no use for it, but $500.00

Not sure if I'd have use for any Chase cards, but they be playin' hard to get, so I'm gonna put a checkmark on that because no one puts baby in the corner.

But yeah, I'm not a fan of my left kidney.
