Does Capital One resubmit or retry a returned payment a 2nd time before posting it as such to the Capital One account?

NSF once on my checking account. I've had this happen before 1 time with a Comenity card but they resubmitted the payment a 2nd time so it didn't post as returned to my card account.

Cap One can be brutal with returned payments unless they result from error on their end.

If you want to keep that card, make a payment right now.

Most likely returned. Have you logged in? Might show restricted.

Give them a call. No lender likes NSF, but they are known to close account. If not, it's going to be a recent internal strike.
